A servant of God, my priesthood slogan is this: "Jonas Abib, Feito tudo para todos" - done everything for everybody and in my greeting card of ordinance I did not write Fr. Jonas Abib, I wrote Jonas Abib done everything for everybody, therefore my priesthood is also done everything for everybody.

Certainly it was when I finished the college and I made the calculations to know if I left in that moment the seminary to become maybe a professor. I would have a chance of being supervisor of education or even a manager later. I wanted to know about the possibilities to support a family. I have made the calculations, but thanks to be to God, I torn to pieces and had thrown it away. It could seem simply an act, but it was a moment of decision, I swerved to a side and another, but the priesthood was the path!

It was the moment after tuberculosis; my superiors had took me away of all the works, which I had done with the youth, and by the time, I felt that I was faraway from my subject; I became very resented and it drives me to the bottom of the well. I decided to invoke the Holy Spirit praying every night before lying me down and the Lord helped me and granted what I had asked for... - the gift of Holy Spirit. He gave me the baptism in the Spirit.
