Before any bitter situation as sadness, illness, unemployment or even before infidelity we should remember that we cannot stop praying.
If your first attitude is to stop praying before such situation, you should make the opposite: open your heart to the Lord because He is above all your problems. He has the control of all things. Sometimes, we think that He loose control on the things. We are deceived to think that the same happen to the Lord when we lost control of our family, our financial life or with our children
We stay so frightened with events that we forget that He has control on everything.

One day, when I was visiting Bahia, I watched an old fisher man fighting against a big fish that was caught. The fisher man patiently managed that moment giving line to fish and another time pulled it back, so that the fish get tired. Finally he took the fish from water after half an hour.

It was a marvelous teaching because I noticed that God work patiently with us as well. Sometimes, when we are taken by biter situation we rebel against God because we do not consider ourselves worthy of that situation. God is love and He respect our will, our freedom. He will not reject us because he knows, sooner or later, we will go toward Him. We should learn that the more a fish fight more it hurts itself.
Let us surrender to the God’s love sooner.
